Join us for Legal Tech Demos at NYU Law!
This quarter, instead of our traditional #nylegaltech Drinks + Demos, we’re trying something a little bit different. We’re cohosting a legal tech demos event with the NYU Law Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Program. It will be similar to our usual Drinks + Demos, but follow a slight different format and focus on companies founded by NYU Law alumni.
Our full community is welcome to join!
Details are as follows:
- When: Thursday, February 5th, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
- Where: D’Agostino Hall (Lipton Hall room) at NYU Law (110 West Third Street, New York, NY 0012)
- What: Live demos of some of the most interesting and innovative legal tech products in the market today (including audience Q&A), followed by a networking reception with food and drinks.
- RSVP: https://nylegaltech-nyulawlegaltechdemos.eventbrite.com
Note for students: We’re always happy to waive the cover charge for current students (and we always need extra pairs of hands to volunteer at the check-in table for 20 mins., etc., which we’d love your help with). To volunteer, please reach out to the organizer directly on Eventbrite, the meetup platform, or by email.
Demo Line-up:
Covenant is the first and only AI law firm for the private markets. Our mission is to integrate legal expertise and advanced AI so that clients can get deals done and get answers fast. With Covenant, investors dramatically reduce fees, increase transaction velocity, and unlock data insights across the investment lifecycle. Headquartered in New York, Covenant is led by Jen Berrent (former COO and CLO of WeWork) and Richard Perris (former General Counsel of CVC). The company is backed by Flybridge Capital Partners and serves many of the world’s leading institutional investors.
Lega is legal’s genAI lab—a secure platform for exploring, building, and deploying AI applications with enterprise controls. As generative AI reshapes legal work at unprecedented speed, Lega gives firms the infrastructure to move with the market: test new models days after release, empower lawyers and business teams to build no-code AI solutions, and generate insights from actual usage patterns, all while maintaining the governance and compliance that client trust demands. In an industry where standing still means falling behind but missteps carry existential risk, Lega makes it possible to innovate rapidly and responsibly.
Syllo is an AI-powered litigation workspace that helps lawyers and paralegals securely apply language models across the litigation lifecycle, including document review, factual analysis, and case workflow management.
An additional presenter will be confirmed shortly.
